Terms of Service

Terms

Last updated: May 2026. These terms are written to read like English, not like a court filing. Please review with your legal advisor before relying on them in a contract.

1. Who we are

Unibox is operated by Unibox Labs ("Unibox", "we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Unibox web application, API, and any related services. By signing up you agree to be bound by them.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google. We don't store passwords. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for the actions taken under your Unibox login.

If you're an admin, you're responsible for your team's use of the workspace, including granting and revoking access.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Unibox to send unsolicited mail, harass, or violate Google's Workspace acceptable-use policies. Don't probe for security vulnerabilities except via our published responsible-disclosure email (security@unibox.cx).

4. Subscription and payment

Plans bill monthly or annually in advance. EU VAT is added at checkout where applicable. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds for unused time.

Free trials run 14 days unless stated otherwise. We don't auto-charge a card you didn't enter.

5. Your data

Mail itself stays in your Google Workspace. Unibox stores metadata: thread ids, tags, statuses, internal notes, audit logs. We delete this metadata within 30 days of workspace deletion.

We never train AI models on your mail. AI features call your own configured provider with your own API key.

6. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% monthly availability but make no guarantees. Status is at https://status.unibox.cx. For outages caused by Unibox itself we issue prorated credits on request.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of Unibox is limited to the fees you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes

We'll email you at least 30 days before any material change to these terms. Continuing to use Unibox after that date means you accept the new terms.

9. Contact

Questions go to legal@unibox.cx. Security disclosures to security@unibox.cx.
